We provide a full range of civil engineering services, mostly directed at municipal and public works projects. Projects for which we have been responsible include water treatment plants, water tanks, pump stations, water distribution systems, relocation and new design for water distribution lines, water wells, sanitary sewer collection and outfall systems, design and reconstruction of ADA compliant sidewalks, streets, drainage, and grading. Services provided to our clients include but are not limited to applying for State and Federal Grants, providing professional engineering advice and guidance for planning and capital improvement projects related to water, wastewater, streets, and drainage; serving as project manager to develop plans and specifications for projects; assisting in bidding and construction meetings and make site visits to ensure plans are properly followed; reviewing contractor submittals for compliance with contract plans, specifications, and applicable regulations. Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) involves managing certain risks associated with utility mapping at appropriate quality levels, utility coordination, utility relocation design and coordination, utility condition assessment, communication of utility data to concerned parties, utility relocation cost estimates, implementation of utility accommodation policies, and utility design. It is the systematic study and mapping of subsurface utilities to minimize potential risks related to design and construction projects.
Our techniques involve identifying the horizontal positions of utilities through electromagnetic technology and vertical location through non-destructive equipment, including vacuum truck systems that incorporate safe digging techniques.
